These are among issues explored in a new OECD review of the interplay between higher education and regions due out on 19 September.
OECD will launch the report " Higher Education and Regions: Globally Competitive, Locally Engaged" and discuss its findings at a conference at the Technical University of Valencia, Spain on 19-21 September 2007. The conference is open to the media.
OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría, Mercedes Cabrera, Spanish Minister of Education and Juán Juliá, Vice-Chancellor of the Technical University of Valencia, together with OECD experts, will hold a news conference at 12:30 pm on 19 September. |
