The content related project activities have been divided in four workpackages. These workpackages reflect the philosophy behind the project and will finally form the project outcomes. The workpackages overlap and are interlinked with each other even thouhg they have been divided into separate outocomes. The workpackages and their main contents are:

Lifelong Learning Quality Management Model
In this workpackage the partners find out the characteristics of quality management in lifelong learning sector. In the core of activities is analysing the EFQM model and applying its elements into lifelong learning field.

Tools for Quality Management
In addition to conceptual tools, the universities need practical QM tools to get relevant data for strategic and operative decisions. The objective of this workpackage is to create three tools that would help univeristies in their self-evaluation process. The tools will be a matrix with facts for external evaluation, matrix for self-evaluation and a questionnaire for self-evaluation.

Definition of Standard Processes and Indicators
Understanding the facets of lifelong learning organisations is a prerequisite for continuous improvement. Processes are tools to get the aimed results. Knowing what are the main processes in LLL and indicators of their results is helps organisations improve their activities. Managing the processes is part of managing quality.

Web Tools for Quality Management in Lifelong Learning
This workpackage is closely linked to the Tools for QM workpackage and will be carried out in parallel. Before making the tools available on the web, there will be a needs analysis on the service.
