A PARTIR DEL DÍA 3 DE SEPTIEMBRE SE ACEPTARÁ o RECHAZARÁ AL ALUMNADO Y SE EMITIRÁN LOS RECIBOS.

Tendrá preferencia el alumnado con certificado de aprovechamiento de los cursos de febrero a mayo de 2018 con matrícula antes del 1 de septiembre.

También puede matricularse el alumnado que cumpla alguno de los siguientes requisitos:

Certificado de aprovechamiento desde la convocatoria de cursos de febrero a mayo de 2016.

Prueba de nivel del CDL realizada desde septiembre 2017.

Estar en posesión de algún certificado reconocido por ACLES (MCER) que no tenga más de dos años de antigüedad. (En este caso hay que subir copia del certificado en la matrícula).

Si no cumples alguno de estos requisitos debes matricularte en la prueba de nivel de septiembre de 2018 y matricularte una vez realizada la misma. Consultar información matrícula y prueba.

Objetivos

Independent vantage user. The ability tounderstand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in the student's field of specialisation.Being able tointeract with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Production of clear, detailed textson a wide range of subjects and the ability to explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Independent strong vantage user. The ability to manage conversation through the use of co-operating strategies such as giving feedback on and following up statements and inferences of other speakers and so help the development of the discussion; relate own contributions skillfully to those of other speakers. Being able to use a limited number of cohesive devices to link sentences together smoothly into clear ,connected discourse; use a variety of linking words efficiently to mark clearly the relationships between ideas; develop an argument systematically with appropriate highlighting of significant points, and relevant supporting detail. There is a concentration of items on negotiating; outline a case for compensation, using persuasive language and simple arguments to demand satisfaction; state clearly the limits to a concession.

Metodología didáctica y sistemas de evaluación

Two-and-a-half-hour session, twice a week.
Annual course lasting 120 hours divided into twoterms (B2+.1/B2+.2)

A communicative method with an emphasis on interaction between students and which relates what islearned in the classroom with real-life situations. All classes will be entirely in English.

Language focus (First term B2+.1)
1. Past tenses, present and past habits.
2. Model verbs - obligation, permission, prohibition, criticism, advice, speculation, deduction, possibility and probability.
3. Verbs + ing forms and infinitive. Verbs + object + ing forms and infinitive.
4. Conditionals: zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. Unless, in case, provided that, I wish/If only.
5. Advanced future forms


Language focus (Second term B 2+.2)
1. Reporting structures. Impersonal reporting structures.
2. Passive infinitives and gerunds. Causatives. Determiners and quantifiers.
3. Participle clauses. Making and modifying comparisons.
4. Articles. Prepositions in relative clauses.
5. Gerunds and infinitives. Whatever, wherever, whoever, etc.

Communication Focus (First term B 2+.1)
1. Personal interviews. Writing a story.
2. Discussing photos (1). Writing an opinion essay.
