Objetivos

To improve communication skills in English by providing practice in integrated skills activities, which combine reading, writing, listening and speaking, in a way that reflects real-world communication.

This short course is intended for those who want to practise their communication skills in integrated tasks. The objective of the course is to improve communication skills in English by providing practice in integrated skills activities, which combine reading, writing, listening and speaking, in a way that reflects real-world communication.

NIVEL REQUERIDO:
Curso superado de C1 o C1+ o certificado de competencia lingüística C1.
Si no dispones de los requisitos tendrás que realizar una prueba de nivel on-line.
Para poder realizar dicha prueba deberás enviar un correo electrónico al CDL (cdl@upv.es) del 11 al 14 de junio 2024 hasta las 14:00 horas, con tus datos personales y en asunto: prueba de nivel

NOTA: No podrás matricularte del curso si no has acreditado previamente el nivel.

Temas a desarrollar

• Session 1: Listening into Speaking – How to respond to audio files / recorded content. Students will have to be able to identify key points and express opinions or attitudes towards the topics orally.
• Session 2: Speaking into Writing – How to summarise or report the main points in a discussion.
• Session 3: Reading into Speaking – How to respond to written text (articles, correspondence, news, etc.) and discuss reactions.
• Session 4: Listening into Speaking – How to respond to videos / audiovisual content. Students will have to be able to identify key points and express opinions or attitudes towards the topic orally.
• Session 5: Speaking into Writing – How to summarise or report the main points in a discussion.
• Session 6: Reading into Speaking – How to respond to written text (articles, correspondence, news, etc.) and discuss reactions.
