Objetivos

 Explain the core principles of organic farming and agroecology and their implications for plant breeding.
 Apply methods for the dynamic management of plant genetic resources within a participatory breeding context.
 Understand different methods useful in an organic plant breeding program, including classical and molecular breeding methods.
 Develop strategies for effective interaction with farmers and other value chain actors in participatory plant breeding projects.
 Develop an experimental design and define suitable statistical analysis for on-farm trials.
 Analyze the European policy environment and identify opportunities to promote organic plant breeding.
 Design a business model for an organic seed company, from defining a value proposition to outlining key activities and cost structures.
 Plan a breeding or innovation program using a Living Lab approach to advance the development and marketing of organic seeds.
